You host several sites for clients and shared hosting is causing problems — slowdowns, one site affecting others, no isolation.

Cloudways

Each app runs in isolation. Scale resources per client. No DevOps needed. Best if you don't have a sysadmin.

Hetzner + RunCloud/ServerPilot

Raw VPS + a control panel for WordPress management. Cheapest long-term, more setup upfront. Best if you're comfortable with servers.

DigitalOcean

Good middle ground — clean interface, managed databases, solid docs. More control than Cloudways at similar price.

Note

If any client site gets serious traffic — make sure they're on isolated resources, not shared CPU.
